April, our founder is from the rural area of Brentwood, Ca where her family farmed and raised goats, horses, camels and ostrich. They later moved to Napa, Ca to become Vintners and founded Mt. Veeder Bee Sanctuary. April is now a Registered Nurse who has worked at several spas in Napa and the surrounding Bay Area before running her own. She brings a unique approach to the art of wellness based on experience in science and medicine.

April is a third generation apothecarist who also excelled in sciences since childhood. Her family enriched her appreciation for herbology. April has been creating natural cures, perfumes and tonics for the last 25 years.
In high school she became a home health aide completing the certified nursing assistant program. She then began the prerequisites for the Registered Nursing Program at Napa Valley College. While on the waiting list she was offered a scholarship to become a massage therapist, and did part of the nutrition program at Merritt College in Oakland, Ca. April opened the spa shortly after beginning the Registered Nursing program in 2010. Graduated Nursing in 2013.
